Back to Reality
Spring break is over, and it's back to the grind of pharmacy school. I had a FABULOUS break! I spent most of my break in Dalton. Friday was a busy day. I ran errands all morning/afternoon. Then my mom and Tim took me out for a belated birthday dinner. After dinner, I packed up my car and drove to Birmingham for the weekend. Grayson's family had a surprise birthday party for Grayson's little sister who turned 21 on Saturday. Grayson kinda forgot to tell me about it, so I showed up after dinner and after cake! Once I got there and said hey to everyone, Grayson and I headed over to the Ratliff's Home to watch some basketball. Wesley went to high school with Grayson, and his wife Erin and I have enjoyed getting to know each other and hang out. She's a blogger too. You can find her blog here. She posts a lot of great recipes that I have not yet attempted, but I love to look at them and dream about the day that I will have time to try some of them out! Saturday was somewhat of a lazy day. I didn't sleep very well on Friday night, so after I woke up at 7:30... I was still exhausted! I took a nap, then we watched some basketball before getting ready for Richard and Lindsay's engagement party. The party was nice, the food was great and the company was awesome! We had a great time at the party. Sunday, Grayson was a great sport and escorted me to the Brookwood Mall. I had to go to Macy's to try and find a pair of shoes that I need for my friend Laura's wedding. No luck. What we didn't know was that Macy's opens an hour earlier than any of the other stores in the mall. So Grayson and I walked around in the mall before deciding to just grab some lunch there. After lunch, I stopped in Belks to see if they carried the shoe, and again, no luck. We went back to Grayson and watched some more basketball and packed up the cars. After the GT game was over, Grayson and I stopped by to see our friends Leslie and Daniel and their little girl Caitlyn. Leslie is also a blogger and you can find her blog here. While we were there, Leslie taught me everything she knew about couponing. So today, I decided to try it out a little. I printed of some coupons from www.coupons.com and made my way to Winn-Dixie. I love Winn-Dixie, because they always have great by 1 get 1 free deals! Plus I had a coupon from Winn-Dixie that was for $10 off when you spend $50 or more. I got a ton of stuff, and in the end, saved $38! I was very impressed with myself! :) I'm gonna have to work on this some more! :) That's all I've got for now. I'm super excited about this weekend because Grayson and I are headed to Wesley's family hunting camp for a big get together. It should be a good time! Have a good week!
