Apartment continued

Here are pictures of the other half of my apartment....my bedroom. My bedroom still needs a few touches. My bedroom this year is twice the size of my bedroom last year, so it doesn't look quite as done as it did last year. Anyway, I forgot to take pictures of my bathroom and kitchen, but they're not anything special, so if you want to see 'em, I guess you'll just have to come visit me!! :)

My bed is missing the bedskirt, it ripped, so I have to buy a new one! I still need something to go over my bed, but I'm not in any hurry for that.

The second picture is my desk area with my Auburn diploma and my Aubie painting that I painted at Sips 'n Strokes.

This is the entrance way into my room from the living room & dining room area. The door you see on the right is my laundry room, and directly across from it is my bathroom. The door on the left is to my closet.

And the final picture shows my awesome closet! :)

Apartment

So I spent all morning cleaning my apartment top to bottom!! I had a TON of laundry! I hate doing it, so I always put it off as long as I can! After I finished cleaning, I decided my apartment still needed some decorative touches that I never finished last semester! So I decided to go shopping and got some GREAT deals! I've taken pictures of my living room/dining room with my new finds! I'll add some pictures of my bedroom when I get my sheets back on the bed (they're still in the dryer). The first picture shows 90% of what I bought today! I got flowers that I put on the wall at Bed Bath & Beyond for $20! I love them! I also got the napkin rings at BB&B. I got the place mats and napkins at Kohls along with the flowers! These were the best deals of all! The flowers were originally $35, but I got them for $20. The place mats were on sale for $1.19 each and the napkins were buy one get one free so I got the two napkins for $4! I also made a trip to tjmaxx where I got the Hope word on the top shelf and the silver picture frame on the bottom shelf. The red picture frame came from Pier 1. The third picture shows my front door along with my chair that I absolutely LOVE! It's probably my favorite thing I've ever bought! Oh, and can't forget my pharmacy school bookshelf! Clara was looking sooo cute, that I had to take a close up of her! :) Such a sweetie! The last picture of course shows the rest of the living room. I'll post pictures of the rest of the apartment when I get my bed put back together!

Clara

The biggest addition to my life since I started this blog a year ago is this little girl right here!! Her name is Clara, and often called other names given by myself and my family members such as Clara Belle, Roly-Poly, Boopy, and Furrybutt (my dad's name for her). Clara is a Malti-poo and is about 16 months old. Since I moved into an apartment by myself, she has been WONDERFUL to have around! She's great company and such a cuddle bear!! When I'm studying, she curls up next to me on the couch and will lay there for hours! At night, I'm always afraid that I'm going to roll over on her, but she won't sleep unless she's touching me! Last night she even tried to sleep ON TOP of me! She's a mess, but such fun to have around!! Here are a couple more pictures of her snoozing with her tongue hanging out!

Long time no blog

Well....that didn't last very long! Oops! Sorry to anyone who actually checks this regularly. I forgot I started this blog! Hopefully I will update a little more than twice a year from now on, but I'm not making any promises, so don't hold your breath!

It has been quite a while, and I am now almost a year closer to finishing pharmacy school! Pharmacy school has now tied Grayson's deployment for the number one spot on my list of things that make me miserable. I'm currently in my final semester of Drugs and Diseases, praise the good Lord! For those of you who don't know, Drugs and Diseases (aka DAD) is a series of 4 classes that I started in my first semester of pharmacy school. DAD I and II were both 5 hour classes, and DAD III and IV are both 8 hour classes!! The second year is by far the worst! I've got to make it through this semester, and then it will all be down hill! I can't wait until this semester is OVER! I keep telling myself that summer will be here before I know it!

Speaking of summer, I started looking at my schedule for this summer and guess how many free weekends I have! Just guess! ----- O-N-E! Out of my entire summer, I have 1 weekend with no wedding, wedding shower or bachelorette party! Don't get me wrong, I'm THRILLED for all of those getting married, but geez, could you stretch it out some and give me a bit of a break?! Haha! I actually have 4 weddings the weekend of June 12th. Yes, you heard me correctly! Four in one weekend and all in different towns!

With all this wedding talk, I'm sure you're thinking "So, Courtney when are you and Grayson getting married?" That seems to be the question everyone is asking. All I can tell you is...not any time soon!! Not what you wanted to hear huh? Sorry! haha! But really, we're doing great and just celebrated 4 years together! Can you believe it?!?

Anyway, as I said before, I'll try and get better about updating, maybe even post some pictures soon! Goodnight and God Bless!
